Alongside interpreter Sheida Dayani, filmmaker Jafar Panahi accepts the award for the best original screenplay at the Gotham Awards in New York on Monday for his film <em>It Was Just an Accident</em>.

Panahi's latest film, It Was Just an Accident, won three Gotham Awards on Monday. The filmmaker has been imprisoned in Iran before — but continues to make movies.
